Trinity-Programs

The Montessori at Trinity Oaks is a Preschool and Elementary school that offers an academic based childcare program in the Trinity, New Port Richey and Pasco County areas. Lutz Montessori School serves Lutz, Odessa, Keystone, Land O Lakes, and Tampa areas.

The Montessori at Trinity Oaks and Lutz Montessori School provide Young Children’s, Pre-Primary, Kindergarten, and Elementary Montessori programs. Find information about admission requirements for each program below.

Programs for Young Children and Pre-Primary Children (Classes begin at 8:15 a.m.)

There are a variety of programs to meet the needs of your child:

  • Morning Care 7:15 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
  • Full Day Program 8:15 a.m. — 2:45 p.m.
  • After Care 3:00 p.m. — 6:00 p.m.

Each child is responsible for bringing his or her own lunch.

Admissions Requirements for the Young Children’s Program

  • Child must be 2 years old and does not need to be fully toilet trained.
  • Completion of all forms in the Registration Packet.
  • Payment of registration fee ($300.00 – non-refundable).
  • A month long probationary period for all new students is required to determine whether our academic program is beneficial, and meets the needs of the child.

  • Child must be 3 years old and must be fully toilet trained.
  • Completion of all forms in the Registration Packet.
  • Payment of registration fee ($300.00 – non-refundable).
  • A month long probationary period for all new students is required to determine whether our academic program is beneficial, and meets the needs of the child.

Student Documentation

Prior to the first day of class, each child must have the following health documents and certificates on file in the school. These documents are required by Childcare Licensing:

  • Certificate of Health (DH form 3040).
  • Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH form 680).
  • Copy of the child’s birth certificate.
  • Emergency Information Card completed and signed.
  • Allergies and health concerns documented.

Kindergarten Program & Admission Requirements

The Montessori Kindergarten Program is highly regarded among local education professionals. The children benefit from not only the proven Montessori environment, but also the enriched hands-on academic curriculum presented by talented teachers. The nature of our classrooms (collaborative and joyful learning with high but attainable goals) results in developmentally accelerated children. Our Montessori children gain academic preparation, intrinsic motivation, social responsibility, autonomy, confidence, competence, originality of thought, and sensitivity. Our children earn an education for life, and gain an appreciation for lifelong learning.

Special Education Services (IDEA Notice)

A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

Teacher Qualifications

We are committed to high-quality Montessori education. All lead teachers must meet one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript)
  • Relevant educational degree and or internship experience that prepares them for work in a Montessori environment.
  • Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.). Pre-K experience and certifications would not meet this requirement.
